Education and teachers in Denmark - koulutus ja opettajat Tanskassa

Koulutuskielenä on englanti. Helpommaksi englannin ymmärtämisen tekee se, että opettajat puhuvat selkeästi koska eivät äidinkieleltään ole englantilaisia.

The program is designed to create and establish a place for personal growth and training so that Christian counsellors/pastoral workers and those with secular experience, can be in a process of professional development with a Christian approach. The emphasis is on survivors of sexual abuse.

Survivors of serious trauma are often locked in a world of their own. In order to provide adequate help, it is necessary for 'safe' persons to enter to that world. The biblical concepts of 'grace and peace' have proven to be important keys in achieving this goal. The encounter with 'Powerful Peace of God' enables the survivor to face the pain, to leave the past and to look hope towards the future.

Three Years…..
The program consists on three years study and four summer schools. Each year begins with a summer school of 10 days. The period before the next summer school involves reading assignments, independent studies, topical essays and regular reporting to the school staff. Based on previous studies, some requirements can be waived. The second and third year students are expected to work under adequate local supervision.

This three year programme is in English. Students who do not understand or speak English or are not confident may still be able to participate in the programme if they undertake responsibility for the costs of translation. For further details write the ESARPAC office.

Final evaluation
The final evaluation will take place at the end of third year, which is the 4th summer school. The school is now an affiliated organisation of the Association of Christian Counsellors - ACC (UK). We (as a board) are working on becoming recognised as a specialist course, and a place where students can get their general course in biblical counselling according to ACC. ESARPAC will accredit students who have fulfilled the requirements, to work as pastoral counsellors, within the area of their specialisation(s). This accreditation will include a form of ESARPAC approved supervision in one's own country. It is possible to develop more than one specialisation, through additional third year studies.

We believe that the Scriptures, both the Old and the New Testaments are in their original texts, are fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, without error, and are the final authority for the church.
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Sun and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the absolute deity and full humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, the authenticity of His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection and His present mediatorial work in heaven.
We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit. We believe He gives life, He sanctifies, He empowers and comforts all believers.
We believe that man was originally created sinless. Tempted by Satan, man fell and thereby brought the whole race under condemnation of eternal separation from God.
We believe that the Church is the body of Jesus Christ composed of all true believers. The present work of the Church is the worship of God, the perfecting of the saints and the evangelisation of the world.
We believe in the personal and bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ to consummate our salvation and establish His glorious Kingdom.
